What working with us actually means
These are our terms of engagement, not claims about results. You can hold us to every one of them.
Free case review
Tell us what happened and we will tell you honestly whether you have a claim worth pursuing. No charge, no obligation.
No fee unless we win
Our fee comes out of a recovery. If there is no recovery on your case, you owe us no attorney fee.
No money up front
We advance the cost of records, experts, filing fees and investigation while your case is open, so you are not paying out of pocket while you heal.
We come to you
If you are in the hospital, in a rehab facility, or stuck at home in a brace, we will meet you there instead of asking you to come to an office.
How we can help
Each page below explains the law that applies, the deadlines, and what the insurance company will argue. They are longer than most firm websites because a list of adjectives does not help you decide what to do.
Personal Injury
The rules that govern every California injury claim, and how a case actually moves from first call to resolution.
Read more →Car Accidents
Rear-end, left-turn and freeway collisions, the new state minimum coverage limits, and what to do in the first week.
Read more →Motorcycle Accidents
Lane splitting is legal in California. Insurers still argue it was your fault. How those claims get defended, and answered.
Read more →Truck Accidents
Federal safety rules, driver logs and black box data. Evidence that is legally destructible unless someone demands it in writing, fast.
Read more →Pedestrian Accidents
Crosswalk right of way, the end of jaywalking tickets, and the coverage that applies when the driver flees.
Read more →Wrongful Death
Who is allowed to bring the claim, what the law lets a family recover, and the January 2026 change that narrowed it.
Read more →Dog Bites
California imposes strict liability on dog owners. There is no free first bite, and the insurance is usually the homeowner's.
Read more →Uninsured & Underinsured
When the at-fault driver has no coverage or not enough. Your own policy becomes the case, and it has its own hard deadline.
Read more →Premises Liability
Slip and falls, unsafe stairs and inadequate security. These cases are won or lost on notice and on video that gets overwritten.
Read more →What a claim can cover
California sorts compensation into two categories. What a particular claim can recover depends on the evidence and the available insurance, and nobody can tell you a number before knowing both.
Economic losses
The costs with a paper trail behind them.
- Ambulance, emergency room and hospital charges
- Surgery, imaging, physical therapy and injections
- Prescriptions and medical equipment
- Future care a doctor says you will need
- Wages lost while you were unable to work
- Reduced earning capacity if you cannot go back to the same work
- Vehicle repair or replacement, and a rental while yours is down
Non-economic losses
Real harm that never generates a receipt. California does not cap these in ordinary negligence cases.
- Physical pain, during treatment and after
- Disrupted sleep and the anxiety that follows a crash
- Scarring and permanent disfigurement
- Loss of the activities you have given up
- Strain on your relationships and family life
In a fatal case, the family’s claim covers the loss of the person’s support, companionship and care, plus funeral costs. How wrongful death claims work.
Who you would be working with
This site is published by All Star Injury Attorneys, a personal injury firm with offices in Newport Beach and Orange. Simon Aziz Budhwani, Esq. is the firm’s founder and the attorney responsible for the content here. The firm represents injured people only — never the insurance companies on the other side.
His background includes work on both sides of injury litigation, which is genuinely useful rather than a line on a website: it means knowing how claims get evaluated internally, which arguments actually move an adjuster, and when an offer reflects real exposure instead of an opening position.
You will not find client testimonials, settlement figures or award badges on this site. That is deliberate — prior results tell you nothing reliable about your own claim, and California regulates how they may be described. What we can offer instead is a clear explanation of the law and honest terms.
Start with the questions you actually have
Plain-English guides to the parts of a California claim that cost people the most money when they get them wrong.
Tell us what happened. We will tell you where you stand.
The review is free, there is no obligation, and if you do not have a claim worth pursuing we will say so. If you do, we will explain the deadlines that apply to you and what happens next.
